2 Corinthians 1: 10-11

Have you seen the women left behind on the polygamist compound, in Texas, speaking about their children and their lifestyle? Wow, they seem to be from a different time and place! I hope the state of Texas is fully equipped to take on this massive rescue attempt. Does the state know they'll need the churches of Texas to step up and help with these children and young mothers? Do they understand that these children need to be placed in Christian homes that will give them the familiarity of the good they've received from their upbringing? I know about separation of Church and State, but the good Christians of Texas must be aware that God is calling them to be foster families in the state's system in order to help care for these children. What can we do? We can pray for these young mothers, their children and for the authorities and Christians in the state of Texas to accomplish God's will in this major undertaking. The world's eyes are on Texas right now. Let us pray for this and everything because God is in control.

The CMT Awards program was not as wonderfully inspirational for me as last year's had been. Think it needed Jeff Foxworthy. I really like and admire Billy Ray Cyrus and his talented daughter, but the show was geared to the really young fans and that was a little tough to take. Don't get me wrong, I love Taylor Swift, Kelly Pickler and Carrie Underwood. I wish I had their songs when I was in high school. But, I missed Jeff Foxworthy's humor and insight.

As GMA closes today, I just enjoyed their Breakfast Talk with Robin and three other women. It was fun. I wish I could go with Robin, she's headed to Key West. Ya'll have a great day, luv, Susan
