Always Looking

I'm always looking for something, a past bill, a newspaper article, a Bible verse, etc. Usually when I'm looking for that thing that I really need at the time, something else will come across my path. Yesterday, I was looking for a very important folder, I think it's in a box in the basement, as is approximately fifty percent of our possessions. Well, I still haven't found the folder, but I did come across a picture of me and my dad. It was taken approximately six months after my birth. It was taken by my mom, who was standing behind and to the right of my dad. I am standing in the palm of my dad's right hand. It's something he did with each of his daughters, I'm told. The amazing thing is that, even though I never noticed it before yesterday, there is a mirror on the wall across the room. I can now see the face of my dad looking at me as I stand trustingly in the palm of his hand. I hope to share this precious picture someday, but in the meantime, have a great day. luv, Susan ps, I would be amiss if I didn't also mention that my dad repeated this tradition with my daughter as well in 1984. I'll look for the picture of that.
