Happy Sadie Hawkin's Day (from Sadieville, Kentucky)

Most of you are probably saying.....huh? Well, I know that February 29th, or leap day is traditionally Sadie Hawkins Day, the only day of the year that women can ask men to marry them, unlike the other days of the year. I know this because in my hometown, there used to be the annual sadie hawkins day dance and the girl could ask the guy to it. My sister made a really cute outfit for that, I don't remember who she asked. By the time I got old enough to go, I think they had quit having it.....shucks. Anyway, now you know.

It has been the most awesome day here. I saw deer out back, this time really close. Too bad my camera's batteries were dead or I'd share the pictures.

The Upperroom Daily reading was especially good. Even the title gave me a shiver because I had just been reading Romans 14 before bed last night. You'll have to check out both to see the connection. Have a great day and stay warm, luv, Susan
