Two Positive Responses
When I made my first posting yesterday, I said it might be my last. Well, I actually got two positive responses, so here goes again. We had an ice storm last night, so hope everyone is safe and warm. I also saw deer in our front yard , so I'll have to try and send pictures later today. But, what is primarily on my mind this morning is a Brooks and Dunn song. As many of you know, I live my life listening to country music. I became aware of CMT when I first visited my Aunt Linda years ago, but I didn't realize what a wonderful Christian influence it has until I saw a couple of videos about three years ago. I've been watching it, practically non stop, every since. The song that is on my mind these days is "God Must Be Busy". Kix and Ronnie know the absurdity of these words because, in my opinion, they are both wonderful Christians and know that isn't the case. ( I also know they didn't write this one.) But for all the fans that listen to this song and love it.........you all know that this is the feeling of many people in the world today. Where are you God? Why don't you care any more? Why are there wars, crime, poverty, etc? But, if we've been paying close attention to the world and the pace of the average person's daily life, we know that is not the problem. God is never too busy for us. He is always there...loving, guiding, comforting, and protecting. I've read a wonderful piece that expresses the feeling that God isn't too busy for us, we're too busy for Him. If we ask God for His guidance, wisdom, comfort and protection, He will give in abundance. He promises to meet our daily needs and so much more. Take the time to make time for Him today. Have a great day. luv, Susan
